Abortion is a healthcare service, and can be sought by all pregnant persons, including minors. Registered Medical Practioner (RMPs) cannot refuse to provide abortion services to anyone purely because of the cause of conception, or the age of the pregnant person.

To undergo abortion, consent of the minor's parents or guardians is mandatory.

Additionally, RMPs are not required to reveal the identity of minors even while submitting mandatory POCSO reports to the police.
