Abortion where there is a threat to physical health or mental health of the pregnant person
A pregnant person can seek abortion if continuing the pregnancy will be harmful to their physical or mental health if:
- the gestation period is between 20 to 24 weeks, AND
- two Registered Medical Practitioners have recommended the abortion.[1]
