Are workplaces required to have HIV policies?
Yes. The Central Government has notified the HIV and AIDS Policy for Establishments 2022. All workplaces with 100 or more people (and healthcare establishments with 20 or more) must follow this policy. It covers non-discrimination, confidentiality, grievance handling, and support for employees living with HIV.
