What happens if someone spreads hate or discrimination against people living with HIV?

If someone publicly spreads hatred, promotes discrimination, or tries to incite violence against people living with HIV (PLHIV) through speech, writing, signs, advertisements, or any other means, they can be imprisoned for 3 months to 2 years, and/ or fined up to ₹1 lakh, or both.
