HIV and AIDS (Prevention and Control) Act

The HIV and AIDS (Prevention and Control) Act, 2017 is a law to prevent and control the spread of HIV/AIDS. The Act protects people who are HIV-positive, people currently or previously living with an HIV-positive person, and those who have lost a partner or guardian to AIDS. It ensures that they receive proper care and treatment.
